About the Event

This workshop, led by Nicky Treadway, LMHC, explores the nuances of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. The material is intended for anyone working with pregnant or postpartum women or men. During this workshop we will review diagnosing and assessing as well as treatment approaches. We get into the details of working with this population and will create a comprehensive list of considerations for clinicians.

The 3 hour workshop should be considered a overview to the field of maternal mental health and is perfect for anyone wanting to develop increased competency working within the PMAD population.

The workshop is casual and will include some experiential elements. Participants will leave with handouts, assessments, and resources related to working with pregnancy and postpartum women and men.

This is a 3-hour CE Course for Mental Health Therapists, Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists. Anchors Aweigh Counseling is an approved provider by the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling.
