
Greysy Rodrigues, LMHC
Greysy Rodriguez is a bilingual and licensed mental health counselor. She is fluent in both Spanish and English. Greysy is a proud Seminoles Alumni, having obtained her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Florida State University. While pursuing her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University, Greysy’s early work in the field included providing case management services while working with underprivileged children and families and later working as a Behavioral Health Technician in substance abuse treatment.
Born in Central America and having emigrated to the U.S. as an infant, Greysy is passionate about and sensitive to the multicultural issues that many clients face today. She is dedicated to incorporating an awareness of the social and environmental factors relevant to each client in order to honor and recognize their uniqueness while developing a customized treatment plan best suited to them.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor of the state of Florida, Greysy specializes as a dual diagnosis counselor. Her approach is a synthesis of cognitive-behavioral and experiential, allowing her to meet clients where they are while also assisting them to gain a new, healthier perspective. As she works with clients to overcome their past and create a new future for themselves, she offers a positive Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention approach which benefits clients by addressing the healing of mind, body and spirit. Greysy’s favorite mantra is “Change your thoughts, change your life!”
